DWG Nº 171 General assembly · Robinhood Chain

It buys a stock, marks it up 50%, and every sale burns the coin.

A public machine. Pons creator fees come in as ETH, the machine buys a Robinhood stock token, lists it for sale at +50% as a Uniswap V3 sell order, and when it sells, the proceeds buy $MARKUP and burn it.

Technical drawing of the Markup Machine: fee hopper on top, pot tank, buy arm with a ticker display, listing rack, burn furnace, and a glass vault of stock ingots below.
  1. 1 Fee hopper

Every $MARKUP trade on Pons pays a creator fee in ETH to the machine. Anyone can call harvest(): 85% goes to the pot, 10% to the burn bucket, 5% to dev.

  2. 2 Pot tank

The pot collects until it holds 0.05 ETH. Then the machine can buy one stock.

  3. 3 Buy arm

The pot is swapped ETH → USDG → the next Robinhood stock token (NVDA first, then TSLA), checked against a 30-minute TWAP.

  4. 4 Listing rack

Each stock is listed the moment it is bought: a one-tick Uniswap V3 sell order at buy price × 1.5. It never sells below +50%, so a listing can wait forever.

  5. 5 Burn furnace

When the stock trades through the ask, anyone can call settle(): USDG → ETH → buy $MARKUP → 0x…dEaD.

  6. 6 Vault

One ingot per stock the machine holds. Only the machine holds them.
